Join us in the shop on Thursday 31st July at 2pm to celebrate for an event with local author Andy Evans, and illustrator, Lucy Fleming, as they share their book, ‘The Little Adventures of Erig the Earwig.’

What does an earwig say at the start of an adventure? Of course, it's “earwigo-again!”

These are the adventures of Erig the earwig and Erig’s best friend Bob, the small, brainy, copper beetle. Together they explore fascinating places in their garden and go on adventures where they meet and help many other interesting bugs and insects. 

​’Perfect for bed-time reading for 5-8 year olds, or solo reading from 7-9 year olds, these stories are both whimsical, full of interesting characters and beautifully illustrated.’

There’ll be a reading from the book, a draw-along activity led by illustrator, Lucy Fleming, as well as some exciting surprises! The perfect afternoon activity for the summer holidays!
